Rain Alert for Sindh KP Punjab and Other Regions This Week
Rain Expected in Many Areas of Pakistan This Week
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) says that most parts of Sindh will have hot and humid weather, but rain is expected in several cities on July 30 and 31. These include Tharparkar, Umerkot, Mirpurkhas, Mithi, Sanghar, Khairpur, Jacobabad, Kashmore, Sukkur, Ghotki, Larkana, and Dadu.
Karachi Weather:
Karachi is cloudy today with sea winds blowing at 18 kilometers per hour. No heavy rain is expected in the city this week, but there might be drizzle in the mornings and evenings. The weather will stay cloudy and humid, and today’s temperature may reach 35°C.
Rain in Other Provinces:
According to the PMD, monsoon winds are slowly moving into the upper and central parts of the country and will become stronger from July 28. A westerly weather system is also expected on July 29.
Heavy and widespread rain is likely from July 28 to 31 in many parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), including:
Dir, Chitral, Swat, Kohistan, Shangla, Battagram, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur
Buner, Malakand, Bajaur, Mohmand, Khyber, Orakzai, Kurram
Kohat, Peshawar, Charsadda, Nowshera, Mardan, Swabi
Hangu, Karak, Bannu, Lakki Marwat, Waziristan, Tank, and Dera Ismail Khan
Rain is also expected in:
Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan from July 27 to 31
Punjab and Islamabad from July 28 to 31
South Punjab from July 29 to 31
Baluchistan from the night of July 29 to July 31
