Pakistani Beauty Brands to Look Out For (Part I)

Move over international makeup brands. These Pakistani beauty brands will give anyone a run for their money. Whether you’re a casual makeup wearer or a professional makeup artist, I’m sure you’ll be able to find your niche products in the brands listed below.

ZERO Makeup by Nabila

I had to start with my favourite one from the lot. Their signature ZERO Perfecting Palette has my heart! Nabila, a professional makeup giant with salons under her name, has created a no-fuss, no-muss makeup product that people of all ages and skin colours can enjoy. I go through these ones after the other like they cost nothing, but they do. Leaning towards the pricier side of things, their products are usually lavish. But I’m telling you, they’re worth every single penny. With only three products to choose from, they surely need to expand their range. But baby steps, huh? They’re doing it just right. Plus, I really support their “less is more” philosophy. With minimalistic and classy packaging, these products look amazing in your makeup bag and nonetheless, your skin. Would highly, highly recommend it.

ZAY Beauty

From their cult classics to newer launches, Zay Beauty is a brand to keep on your radar. With their quirky and flamboyant packaging, they are a treat to the eyes! Plus a big thumbs up to their creative team members for naming and packaging their products so ingeniously. Their Drama Glows Duo cream and powder highlight palettes are top contenders with TheBalm’s MaryLoumanizer and Becca’s Champagne Pop in terms of pigmentation and performance. And mind you, it’s not cheap makeup by any means. Its luxe makeup endorsed and produced in the country you live in, that’s it. I have used their Browahh Brow Pomade and oh boy, I am not disappointed! Would I recommend you try it? Absolutely.

Luscious Cosmetics

How can we talk about Luscious’ products without mentioning their best-selling Contour Palette? I stumbled over this brand a few years ago and really enjoyed their products. Especially their Angel Eyes Primer and Powder Contour Kit. And, let me tell you something. You don’t need to spend heavy bucks on Kat Von D’s Shade & Light Palette when you can get something in literally a fraction of its price. Thank me later!

TT Cosmetics

If you haven’t seen or heard Pakistani beauty bloggers raving about their liquid lipsticks on their YouTube channels and Instagram pages, you’re clearly living under a rock. But it’s not just their liquid lipsticks that have clout and clamour around them, their cream lipsticks are no less. Plus, imagine a shade range that is designed for and looks good on South Asian skin tones?! Doesn’t that make you feel a jolt of excitement running down your spine? I know, right!

Zhoosh Makeup

As soon as Zhoosh introduced its luxury eyelashes that could be re-worn up to 25 times, everybody was talking about how good they are. I bought them in the style “Bambi” and would recommend it to everyone who doesn’t like falsies to look like mini umbrellas on top of their eyes. They are fluttery, beautiful and give your eyes that oomph that you appreciate to the heavens. Besides, they also have an eyelash guide where they tell you the styles that would suit your eye shape the best. Their brow pomades are also really good quality and definitely comparable to the ABH Brow Pomade. Try them for yourself and I am sure you wouldn’t be dissatisfied.

Layesha

With models adorning and endorsing Layesha’s luxe eyelashes on their social media platforms, they surely give your eyes that brio and bling that your creative eye looks require. I’ve come to realize after years of wearing makeup that falsies can really make or break your look. So you need to be cognizant about the style that you choose to wear and also their placement on your eyes. They’ve recently collaborated with an Instagram Content Creator, Laraib Rahim from Islamabad, who also modelled for them on their website. So far, they only sell false lashes but let’s hope that they come out with new products soon.

Entice Cosmetics

These Pakistani beauty brands are killing it in the liquid lipstick department. With Entice’s Lush Liquid Lipsticks Sets, you’d surely find a volume that makes your heart skip a beat. If you’re out on a hunt for serums and clay masks to give your skin the TLC it deserves, look no further. Plus, supporting local brands always makes you feel good, doesn’t it?

Mana Beauty Spirit

With lip and cheek tints being the burning desire of every young girl who loves a “naturally flushed and glowing” makeup look, their signature products are winners. With core ingredients like beetroot juice and almond oil, their lip and cheek tints are loved nationally for their staying power and blend-ability. Plus, they come in a variety of shades to choose from. It’s not just these cult classics, but their comparatively organic skincare and haircare ranges are winning hearts too. With a claim of using only nutritional fruits, flower extracts, herbal infusions and essential oils, we surely are pleased. Aren’t we?

CoNatural

Don’t we all love organic skincare products? I know I do. They’re healthier and kinder to your skin, don’t come packed with harsh bleaching agents that irritate and harm your skin and smell incredible. CoNatural’s bestsellers include their Rose Face Gel, Organic Aloe Vera Gel, Activated Charcoal Bar, Daily Essentials Lavender Face Wash and an array of other products too. Their lip balms are to die for when they’re fresh but *fair warning* start smelling rancid after a month or two. Not to mention, their cute packaging will make your dresser look gorgeous too.
