PDWP Approved Projects in Developmen of education sector

PESHAWAR: The Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) on Monday approved two projects in the education sector. They will be executed in settled and merged districts at a cost of Rs1.5 billion. The development came at a video-linked special meeting of PDWP chaired by additional chief secretary Shahab Ali Shah; according to a statement. The forum considered continuing the basic education community schools (BECS) program and National Commission for Human Development centers in the province. The merged areas and approved both the projects.

Moreover, The forum considered 50 schemes of elementary and secondary education; food, home, excise, information, water, industries, in addition to multi-sectoral development, relief, and rehabilitation; roads, transport, establishment and administration sectors for the uplift of the province.

Moreover, Of these, the forum approved 39 schemes for an estimated Rs49 billion. Furthermore, the PDWP recommended to the Central Development Working Party (CDWP). Lastly, Approved schemes in the Elementary and Secondary Education sector. Additionally, Upgrading some 150 primary schools for boys and girls to middle level on need basis in K-P.
