Punjab Floods 3,500 Evacuated
Around 3,500 people and 250 animals were evacuated to safety during the relief operation in Pakpattan.
Flooding destroyed rice and maize crops covering hundreds of acres in the area.

A high flood alert was issued downstream of the Harike and Ferozepur barrages in India.
The Indian High Commission officially informed Islamabad about the high flood alert. The Ministry of Water Resources informed all provincial chief secretaries and concerned departments about the water situation.
Currently, the water inflow and outflow at Trimmu Barrage have been 1,78,932 cusecs.
