CM Punjab Launches Ration Card Scheme 2025 to Support Families Amid Inflation
LAHORE – The Punjab government has introduced the CM Punjab Ration Card Scheme 2025, aimed at providing relief to over 1.5 million families struggling with inflation and the rising cost of living.
Under the scheme, households will be able to purchase essential food items such as flour, sugar, rice, pulses, and cooking oil at subsidized rates. Eligible families will receive either Rs3,000 in monthly assistance or a quarterly grant of Rs10,000.

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the CM Punjab Ration Card 2025, applicants must:
Be permanent residents of Punjab
Have a monthly household income below Rs50,000
Possess a valid NADRA-issued CNIC
Be registered with the Punjab Socio-Economic Registry (PSER)
Not be government employees or tax filers
Submit only one application per household
Officials clarified that those who received Rs 10,000 under the Ramzan package may already be eligible without fresh registration.
Registration Process
Online Registration:
Visit the PSER portal and click “Register Now.”
Enter CNIC, name, mobile number, and password
Provide income, family size, and address
Verify mobile number via SMS
Submit the form and wait 15–20 working days for confirmation
Offline Registration:
Applicants can also visit the nearest E-Khidmat Markaz with their CNIC, proof of income, utility bill, and a passport-sized photo. Staff will assist in completing the process, and a tracking receipt will be issued.
Checking Application Status
Online: Through the PSER portal
SMS: By sending CNIC to 8123 (when activated)
In-person: At E-Khidmat Markaz using the tracking slip
Using the Ration Card
Once approved, the ration card—linked to the applicant’s CNIC—will be available at the Union Council office. Beneficiaries will be notified via SMS or phone call.

Government utility stores
Partner grocery shops
Approved outlets across districts and tehsils
No physical card is required; showing the original CNIC at checkout will automatically apply the discount.
