Rana Sanaullah Warns PTI Over August 5 Movement
Rana Sanaullah, a special assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM), spoke in the program Khabar. He talked about the PTI founder’s sons and the party’s upcoming plans.
He said that the PTI founder’s sons are British citizens and don’t understand Pakistan’s politics. He questioned why they are being brought to Pakistan, saying it might create more problems for them.
“If they come and take part in PTI’s political activities, they could be arrested,” he warned.
Rana Sanaullah also criticized PTI’s way of protesting. He said that the party’s past actions include violence, attacks on state buildings, and setting things on fire, so people cannot trust their protests to stay peaceful.
He made it clear that the government won’t allow any violent activities in the name of protest.
Rana Sanaullah Speaks About PTI and Its Plans
He said PTI’s real aim is not democracy but causing trouble. That’s why the government will not allow them to hold such events.
He added that peaceful protests are an important part of democracy, but PTI has never shown that it wants to behave democratically. The government will only talk with PTI when the party shows it can act democratically.
He also said that a small group of 10,000 to 15,000 people cannot control a country with 250 million people.
Finally, he confirmed that PTI plans to start a movement on August 5. The government will deal with it according to the law. He said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif believes political problems should be solved through dialogue.
