Shehbaz Sharif Praises Peaceful Ashura Security Nationwide

According to reports, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif made these comments during a meeting with Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi.

During the meeting, the Interior Minister gave an update about the overall security situation in the country and explained the steps taken to keep people safe during Ashura.

He thanked them for maintaining peace in their areas.

Shehbaz Sharif Praises Security Efforts During Ashura

He also appreciated the work of the police, Rangers, security agencies, and all provincial teams. He said that Ashura passed peacefully across the country because of good planning and strong teamwork between the provinces and the security forces.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi informed the Prime Minister that special measures were taken to protect people and support mourners during the Ashura processions.

Shehbaz Sharif also praised Naqvi for his leadership and coordination. He said the Ministry of Interior played an important role in keeping the atmosphere safe and respectful during this important religious occasion.

Earlier, Youm-e-Ashur (the 10th of Muharram) was observed on Sunday across the country with great respect. It was held to honor the sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Hussain (R.A) and his loyal companions in Karbala.

Their sacrifice sent a strong message about standing up for the true values of Islam.

Mourning processions were held in cities and towns across Pakistan to remember the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (R.A), the grandson of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH).

Religious scholars and speakers spoke about the teachings of Imam Hussain (R.A) and the different aspects of the tragedy of Karbala.
