Enaam Ahmed, the Karting Champion, leads Pakistan to victory over India
In the Dubai 12-Hour Endurance Karting Race, team Pakistan’s leader, Enaam Ahmed, not only secured Pakistan’s first-ever top-4 finish at the Nations Cup, but he also produced a stunning 9-lap lead over arch-rivals India, setting up a historic moment.
Ahmed guided his team to an incredible victory on the difficult course, surpassing more than thirty rivals and creating karting history for Pakistan. Team Pakistan ascended to unprecedented heights thanks to Maz Chughtai’s strategic acumen and unrelenting dedication, earning them a rightful spot among the leading competitors in the hotly contested race.
Maz Chughtai and Shamiq Saeed, the “two most talented drivers from Pakistan,” were the ones Ahmed stated he selected to join team Pakistan. Chughtai is a multiple-time Dubai karting champion.
Ahmed had personally chosen Saeed from Karachi. “Shamiq was the only driver from Pakistan with natural speed and immense talent, aside from Uzair Magsi,” the speaker stated.
Against 30 of the world’s top endurance teams, Pakistan’s squad finished fourth overall and second in the nations cup during the qualification phase. This implied that the team had the best of the best starting at the top of the field.
Team Pakistan not only secured a record top-4 finish, but they also triumphed against India, demonstrating their supremacy on the track with a commanding 9-lap lead despite falling to 30th position as a result of an unfortunate puncture. The Pakistani squad would have undoubtedly placed on the podium had it not been for this puncture.
Ahmed said, “It’s an honor to represent Pakistan and to achieve this milestone alongside my teammates,” expressing his delight in helping team Pakistan to such an unparalleled level of achievement. We exerted great effort to bring honor to our nation, and we are even more delighted with our achievement now that we have decisively defeated India.”
The Dubai 12-Hour Endurance Karting Race is renowned for its difficult course and fierce competition, which makes the accomplishment of the Pakistani team even more remarkable.
Their victory shows Pakistan’s potential on the international arena and is a tribute to the talent and commitment of the nation’s racing community. This triumph not only confirms Pakistan’s dominance in racing but also ushers in a new age that will inspire a new generation of racers, the driver stated.
Ahmed is the only Pakistani to win both the FIA World and European Karting Championships and the title of inaugural British Formula 3 Champion. The next generation of Pakistani drivers will be guided by him into circuit racing as he is the only man with the respect and reputation in the world of motorsports, having raced several current F1 drivers.
