For the fourth consecutive year, Virat Kohli has been crowned the 2023 ICC ODI Cricketer of the Year

Due to his exceptional 2023 season, the renowned Indian cricketer Virat Kohli has won the coveted ICC Men’s ODI Cricketer of the Year title. This accolade, which is being given to Kohli for the fourth time, emphasizes his ongoing supremacy in the One Day International (ODI) format.

Kohli shown remarkable abilities throughout the 2023 season, especially in the India-hosted World Cup and the ODI matches. His exceptional work was a major factor in earning this recognition. Remarkably, during the season, Kohli surpassed his fellow countryman Shubman Gill to become the second-highest run scorer in One-Day Internationals.

With six hundreds and eight half-centuries, the former Indian captain amassed an astounding 1,377 runs in one-day international cricket. In addition to greatly aiding India’s victory, Kohli’s remarkable performance allowed him to eclipse the legendary Sachin Tendulkar’s long-standing ODI hundreds record.

In addition to leading India to the World Cup final, Kohli’s incredible 2023 season saw him win Player of the Tournament for his unprecedented 765 runs in 11 games.

With this most recent accolade, which is his fourth in the ODI category and his seventh overall ICC award, Kohli continues to build his impressive resume.
