Citizens’ Medical Bills will be Covered by Sehat Sahulat Card
Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that providing health cards to the citizens would ensure complete and free-of-cost health coverage, which has largely been unimaginable in the country’s history. Secondly, Addressing a launching ceremony of the Sehat Sahulat card for the Sahiwal and Dera Ghazi Khan divisions; moreover, the prime minister said that with the extension of the health care facility to every family of Punjab province, the underprivileged no longer have to worry about getting the medical treatment. Moreover, He said every family in these two divisions could now avail health treatment worth Rs720,000. Furthermore, They could get health facilities in all the public and private hospitals alike.

Thirdly, As informed by the Punjab minister for health, an additional amount of Rs. 300,000 could be given to the deserving families when required, he added. Furthermore, The prime minister said the universal health coverage initiative system was new for the countrymen and stressed the need for vigilance in that regard. Moreover, “It will become a safety net and would end health concerns of the poor people;” he added. Sehat Sahulat Program:
Fourthly, Sehat Sahulat Program is a milestone towards social welfare reforms ensuring that the identified under-privileged citizens across the country get access to their entitled medical health care in a swift and dignified manner without any financial obligations. Moreover, The SSP program’s objective is to improve access of the poor population to good quality medical services, through a micro health insurance scheme.

- Chronic infections (Hepatitis/HIV/Rheumatology).
- Organ Failure (Liver, Kidney, Heart, Lungs).
- Cancer (Chemo, Radio, Surgery).
- Neurosurgical Procedure.
SECONDARY CARE

- In-Patient Services (All Medical and Surgical Procedures).
- Emergency Treatment requiring admission.
- Maternity Services (Normal Delivery and C – Section).
- Maternity Consultancy / Antenatal Checkups (4 times before delivery and one follow up after delivery).
- Maternal Consultancy for family planning, immunization and nutrition.
- Fractures / Injuries.
- Post hospitalization.
- Local Transportation Cost of PKR 1,000 (thrice per year).
- Provision of transport to tertiary care hospitals.
