Claiming that Fawad Khan is ‘too pricey’ to be invited on her show, Nida Yasir

Nida Yasir has had a ton of celebs grace her seat on Good Morning Pakistan ever since she began her career as a morning show anchor in 2011. But one actor has been noticeably absent from Nida’s probing questions: none other than the well-known hottie Fawad Khan.

Nida found herself in the opposite position at an open Eid, answering questions from fellow hostesses Nadia Khan and Aijaz Aslam. “So just why hasn’t Fawad Khan come to your show?” said Aijaz, posing the query that so many have been dying to know the answer to.

Nida stated rather plainly and without wasting a beat, “He is too expensive.” “We are unable to pay him!”

Aijaz inquired whether it was the only explanation, smiling sardonically. “Naturally,” said Nida. She continued by explaining that, in contrast to Fawad, her close friend and actor Mahira Khan had made several appearances on excellent Morning Pakistan and had consistently shown excellent sportsmanship by taking part in all of the show’s activities.

Cynical Aijaz said, “Perhaps that was because she wanted to promote her films.”

Nida, on the other hand, was ready to defend Mahira. “No,” she angrily said. “By viewing the show clips [from when Mahira appeared], you can verify.” Mahira and I have an amazing friendship, and I adore her.

At this moment, Nadia intervened to add salt to Nida’s wounds by claiming that Fawad made “two or three” appearances on her own show. But Nida didn’t take long to teasingly remind her colleague that Fawad wasn’t the celebrity he is now at that time.

Nida yelled, “He didn’t have as much money when he did that!” “Back then, he wasn’t appearing in any films!”

Fawad continues to decline Nida’s invites to her program despite having a good cash account and a successful career in cinema and television.
