Hafiz Naeem Criticizes Trump Gaza Plan

JI Chief Hafiz Naeem Slams Trump’s Gaza Plan, Calls It “License to Kill Palestinians”

Lahore: Addressing a press conference in Lahore, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Hafiz Naeem strongly criticized former U.S. President Donald Trump’s proposed Gaza plan, saying it had “no connection to peace.” He argued that the plan primarily safeguards Israel’s security while completely ignoring the creation of a Palestinian state.

Hafiz Naeem also condemned the plan’s call for Hamas to disarm, describing it as illegal. “Hamas is a resistance force defending its land against foreign occupation,” he said, adding that international law, as outlined in the United Nations Charter, grants occupied people the right to resist.

“This is not a peace plan, but rather a license to kill more Palestinians,” he remarked.

The JI leader further accused former British Prime Minister Tony Blair—rumored to have a role in Gaza’s post-war governance—of complicity in mass killings in Iraq.

Hafiz Naeem expressed disappointment over Pakistan’s apparent acceptance of the plan even before its official announcement. “We will resist every attempt to accept the Abraham Accords and Israel,” he declared, warning that backing the plan would weaken Pakistan’s position on Kashmir.

He also condemned Israel’s recent attack on the Global Sumud Flotilla and announced nationwide protests tomorrow, with a major march scheduled for October 4.

“The Israeli aggression is destabilizing global peace, and the United States has effectively given Israel a license for genocide,” Hafiz Naeem concluded.
