Jannat Mirza crosses 10 million followers on TikTok
Jannat Mirza has crossed 10 million followers on video-sharing app TikTok. She is the first-ever Pakistani to cross 10 million.
The TikToker recently made her debut in the mainstream entertainment industry when she appeared in a music video. The video of the Punjabi song titled “Shayar” received over 10 million views on YouTube. Earlier this year, Mirza also revealed that she will soon be making her Pakistani movie debut. Directed by Syed Noor, the Punjabi film is shot in a village and Lollywood actress Saima is playing the role of her mother.
Fans are congratulating the TikTok sensation for becoming the most followed TikTok star in Pakistan. Jannat also has over 1 million followers on Instagram where she often shares her TikTok videos.
Jannat, who is currently studying in Japan, took to Instagram to celebrate with her fans and followers, thanking them for their immense support in making her turn what was just a hobby, into something to be proud of.
“Am I dreaming? 10 million followers. Never imagined my passion would bring me here. Alhamdulillah, when you’re not envious of others, you eventually get the fruit of it,” she posted. “Thank you so much everyone, if I’m here today it is only because of you, I love you all. Nothing without you, thanks a lot for supporting me.”
Jannat Mirza said that her younger sister, Alishba Anjum, is also a very popular TikTok model with over 2 million followers. According to Mirza, she will continue her passion for modeling, however, education is her topmost priority.
The star believes that she will only be able to make any important decision about her future after completing her education and taking the advice of her parents.
