If elected head of the censor board, Nauman Ijaz would outlaw all TV dramas

With a long history of successful plays under his belt, veteran actor and host Nauman Ijaz has declared that he will shut down all TV dramas if appointed head of the censor board.

Ijaz made this comment during an interview on a private TV station in response to a question about the adjustments he would make if chosen head of the censor board.

“I am going to outlaw all dramas since they severely degrade family relationships… He remarked, “I feel bad for my people because I don’t see why they pick up a rock and throw it at TV channels.”

All of the familial ties, including those with the mother, sister, brother, mother-in-law, and father, were depicted as witches and wicked, according to Ijaz, 59.

“Any negative portrayal of our relationships is destroying their sanctity,” he declared.

According to Ijaz, what was seen on television had an effect on society.

The actor stated that although it was a cause for concern, people did not seem to grasp it, and that the more outrageous the character, the more popular it became.

Ijaz mentioned that he chuckled at a play that had a bad portrayal of his sister-in-law and received a very good rating.

Ijaz expressed his desire to bring about change, claiming that a great deal of negativity pervaded society.
