In Rawalpindi, a woman gives birth to healthy sextuplets, a one in 4.7 billion chance event

At the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital in Rawalpindi, Punjab province, a young mother has given birth to six kids, beating the odds of one in 4.7 billion, according to a Friday story from Geo News.

The Hazara Colony inhabitants Zeenat Bibi and Waheed, the mother, are overjoyed with the miracle delivery of sextuplets, four boys and two girls.

Doctors report that the mother’s health is OK and the infants’ birth weights are normal. The babies are in good health.

Until they are given the all-clear to leave the hospital, the infants will receive medical treatment in the neonatal intensive care unit (ICU).

Although the prevalence of fertility medications has grown recently, increasing the likelihood of big multiple births, such as sextuplets, many medical professionals advise against having them. Sextuplets do not occur naturally.

Sextuplets come in a variety of varieties. Some are fraternal, deriving from six distinct pairings of sperm and eggs. According to verywellfamily.com, some are similar, which is what occurs when a single fertilized egg divides into several embryos.

Identical triplets or even sextuplets, albeit no proven occurrences of the latter, can result from that splitting happening more than once. Additionally, sets of identical twins may exist among the sextuplets.

All males, all girls, or a combination of the two can be sextuplets. The gender of identical multiples will never change.

The family’s greatest problems have only recently begun, despite all of the joy, as caring for one infant is a never-ending task for parents, and they have six in their household.
