Pakistan Medical Commission asks colleges to send data

The Pakistan Medical Commission medical and dental colleges, announced that it has asked all; to send the data of candidates who recently appeared in their admission interviews.

According to a tweet that the PMC posted in this regard; the move has taken to:

“ensure the highest standards of transparency and avoid any kind of discrepancies”; in the admission process of private medical and dental colleges.

The notification also added that the data of all candidates must submit to the commission by Friday, March 5, 2021.


The Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC); previously known as Pakistan Medical & Dental Council) is a statutory regulatory authority; that maintains the official register of medical practitioners within Pakistan.
Recently,(PMC) has planned to launch; fully automated online application system in March.

Allowing medical graduates and licensed practitioners to apply for licenses, renewals, and other services without visiting the commission office.

The PMC also approved the launch, in March 2021; of the digital license profile project; allowing practitioners to create their digital profile online and; upon biometric verification; update their status and profile online with automated verification processes.

The regulations provided for the disciplinary adjudication by the PMC Disciplinary Committee of complaints of negligence, harassment and other violations of the code of ethics by licensed practitioners.
