4 killed in Srinagar Highway accident at G-11 signal in Islamabad
A tragic accident took place at G-11 signal on Srinagar Highway, formerly known as Kashmir Highway, in Islamabad killing four people when a VIP protocol of Waqas Khan, husband of former Member of National Assembly (MNA) Kashmala Tariq, ran a red light.
According to the details, the accident that occurred at Srinagar Highway killed four people; injured two others when a protocol of Waqas Khan, the owner of Best Western and husband of former Member of National Assembly (MNA) Kashmala Tariq; ran a red light at G-11 signal in Islamabad.

Waqas Khan and Kashmala Tariq’s son Azlan Khan was riding in a black Toyota Fortuner; with a green number plate as shown in the video uploaded; on social media from the scene of the accident at G-11 signal.
According to Islamabad police, the driver and vehicle have been taken into custody; action will be taken in accordance with the law.

Kashmala Tariq’s husband
“Kashmala Tariq’s husband Waqas Khan has been arrested,” confirmed local media outlet; according to which, there were five total vehicles as part of the VIP protocol that ran the red light at G-11 signal in Islamabad; causing the tragic accident on Srinagar Highway.
The two injured people in the accident shifted to the hospital; while police are trying to contact the families of the victims in this heart-wrenching incident.
