Tamannaah Bhatia Denies Rumours About Abdul Razzaq and Virat Kohli
MUMBAI – Indian actor Tamannaah Bhatia has finally spoken about old rumours linking her with Pakistani cricketer Abdul Razzaq and Indian cricket star Virat Kohli.
In a new interview with an Indian news outlet, Tamannaah said the rumours were false and funny.
A few years ago, a photo of her with Abdul Razzaq went viral. Many people on the internet said the two were secretly married. Tamannaah explained that the photo was taken when both were invited to a jewellery store opening.
“People on the internet said I was married to Abdul Razzaq,” she laughed. “It was all a joke.”
She also said she felt embarrassed by the rumour and even apologised to Abdul Razzaq. “I’m sorry, sir. You have two or three kids… I don’t know anything about your life,” she added with folded hands.
Tamannaah also cleared up rumours about Indian cricketer Virat Kohli. She said she only met him once during a shoot.
“I only met him for one day. I never spoke to him again. I have not met him since,” she said.
Virat Kohli is married to Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma.
